This week, I’m sharing with you the 3 ways I styled my boyfriend shirt. If you missed out on look number 1, here’s a link otherwise let’s get straight into look number 2, shall we?
What I’m wearing;
Bag; Prada (Thrifted)
or the second look, I wanted something a lot girly, dressy and even date night appropriate, as you can see, I didn’t hold back at all.It’s been off shoulder season for as long as I can remember and I’m in love with this trend. The off-shoulder top flatters your neckline and shoulders and I feel like it’s suits my ‘dressy-date night’ concept. So, first off, I wore my boyfriend shirt as an off-shoulder top which it very simple to do. Just let out a few more buttons and allow the shoulders to breath. Then, I tucked it in nicely so it appears like I actually put some effort into looking the part.
For my choice of skirt, I chose one in the color red because well, red is very appropriate for date nights especially if you have seduction in mind (not that I do, lol) but look how flattering the color looks with the entire outfit. Still on the seduction theme, pink is a more subtle choice if you don’t want to go all in. Otherwise, just pair the shirt with a skirt that best suits your style. For accessories, I try as much as possible to be as minimal as I can but like I always say- it all goes down to personal style so, do what pleases you and be happy about it.
Finally, I’d like to say that what works for me might not necessarily work for you. I share these looks and tips because you could draw inspiration from them. otherwise, do you, go forth and slay.
I hope you liked my 2nd look. Leave a comment if you did and share the post on social media if you want. That aside, the final look on the boyfriend shirt series will be up in a few days make sure you don’t miss out on it. Until then, peace!
